The new version sounds perfect. I'll hang on a bit longer before choosing which PDM I go for. Feel free to email me on denis@thebassoms.co.uk when you have a date/price for the new version...thanks.
We have a full explanation of how to achieve full wiper braking with multiple wiper speeds in the new updated instruction manual available in the downloads section of the website.
Unfortunately with this version of the PDM, only high side outputs are available, meaning that wiper braking directly is not possible and an external relay will be required. I have attached the instruction manual here, the full explanation is available on page 14/15.
In the near future we will be releasing a new version of the PDM15/25 with the required low side outputs + extras to allow for direct control of two wiper motors and more!
Hi Turby, the PDM25+ will have direct wiper motoe drive for up to two wiper motors. It will hopefully be released in late January 2021.
Has the updated PDM with enhanced wiper functionality been released yet? If so how can we tell we have it?
Oh, and love the resistor divider network example...would solve another issue I have!
