PDM 25 - Outputs 24 and 25 doubled up
Hi,
I am documenting my wiring and after reading and taking some notes I found that some outputs (24 and 25) are duplicated.
What is the correct pinout?
Thanks,
Lucas

Hi,
I have one of the Blink Marine keypads and the PDM28. I am looking for a way to use a single button to turn on ACC, IGN, start the engine and turn everything off. I'm trying to mimic a normal car's push button start.
I've thought about using the different states of the keypad button-state 1 is ACC and state 2 is IGN. The problem will come with state 3 which would be to engage the starter. There is no logic I can see where I can put conditions in for the different states. I would only want the button to go to state 3 if the brake was pressed, no RPM and the gear is park or neutral.
Is there a way to accomplish this?
Thanks

Afternoon, I currently have a output not working on my pdm 28 when it should. i have confirmed the output is active in the program and checked the voltage at the pin with no voltage.
send me a email address and I'll send my file to you
Thanks for you time

I have a pdm 25+ and 2 blink marine keypads. i have one of the buttons on the keypad dedicated to the fault state. i understand how to set the other buttons to trip the red indicator if there is a fault state
What im wondering is if there is any way to trip the fault state button with things that are activated without a keypad button... such as if something is activated from when the pdm is powered on such as "True and True" if there is a fault with that circuit, is there a way to have the keypad fault state indicate it.
Thanks!
Dimitrios
Amazing, thanks for the reply. I can see this works only on v1.16 as on v1.15 (and Before) the LED Condition for the Fault States doesn't have an option to use a Genetic Function. I tried using v1.16 but for me anytime I tried to use a timer and send to the PDM, it would hang and crash and upon reset put the pdm into Firmware Receive mode. Seems I'm stuck on using v1.15 till a new firmware update as i would love to implement this. I'm using a PDM25+.

We have a PDM 25 linked via Canbus to Fueltech FT550 & BM 12 button keypad. All new install. Task is to turn over engine to build up Oil Pressure. No fuel pump etc enabled.
A keypad button has been allocated as a Start/Stop button set to Momentary.
The output has been set to CAN Keypad 1 Button 7 (Start_Stop) State Equals True.
When you press the button it starts to turn over the engine but restarts the keypad and ECU. Any advise to why it is doing this.
Many thanks.

Hi,
I've just installed the pdm. I haven't configured any inputs or outputs yet but noticed that on the inputs on the 'Inputs' screen of the configuration, the input voltages are continuously increasing in value, from the point the laptop is connected, regardless of whether or not 12v power supply to pdm is on.
After about 5 mins of the laptop being connected, the voltage reading on the inputs is around 300v and climbing.
Is this normal?
I had the same issue but with the amp reading. Update to the latest software and update the PDM. It fixed it for me.

It would be nice to be able to input duty cycle numbers from the top and bottom of the list. When adding them from the top it makes all the inputs you put in above match the last one you added. When adding from the bottom it doesn't do it.
Hi,
Yes its two pins per output. You can use both or one pin.
