For example Output 1 is feeding my ECU and Dash. However, when powering the car up this output is showing ~7v on my meter. This does not seem to affect any other output besides Output 1. Once activated and then deactivated it no longer presents the issue.
Just looking for direction to continue diagnosing or maybe there is a setting that is being overlooked by myself. Worst case i can move the input to another output, but i just dont want my ECU receiving a dirty power supply while the car is key on but everything else off.
I will test that this evening when I get back to the car. Admittedly I thought of doing that as I was typing the post and away from the car.
Hi, Please disconnect this output from anything else and measure it again. This isn't something I've encountered before, so i just want to make sure that its actually the PDM 'generating' the 7V and its not being back-fed from the ECU or Dash.
