hello, i'm having a difficult time understanding how to setup ground switched inputs. my ecu only sends ground outputs for my fuel pump and my electric fan. i currently have them setup as active low with the threshold voltage set to .1. i also tried setting it up with the recommended 4v, my output side is setup like this: Input 7 (fuel pump) status equals true
i'm probably missing something obvious but i havnt been able to figure it out. thanks
Just a little note to this i've found sometimes but not always that when using the DTA T series ECU the zero volt out puts (from the ecu) for the fan and fuel pump can fluctuate between 0 and 0.7 volts which if you set the trigger volts at 0.1 causes the PDM to think that there is no request from the ECU to run either.
Hi Ashton, can you see the voltage move when the ECU triggers its output? Your threshold voltage needs to be set in the middle of the two voltages it switches between.
