I am currently using a FoMoCo fuel pump controller, but in the future I want to modify all the harnesses and install a Hardwire PDM. I am worried about the PWM switching frequency of the PDM 25, which is 100 Hz only, this is not enough for normal operation of the pump from my point of view. Maybe someone has experience with such an installation?

Yes thats right the 25 can run at 200Hz. Ive a 25+ that can go to 400Hz. Ive used PWM for controlling all sort of things the higher the Hz the better but 200Hz should be OK. But you'll possibly not want to go below 8volts to get any flow from the pump. It will be trial and error to get the right voltage for the required flow.
I think you can have the PMW running at 400Hz. I have my FIP's and power steering pumps running via PWM.
