just after some help to enter this info into the hardwire configuration software to be able to control outputs from the pdm 15 thanks adam
Hi Adam, The Blink Marine keybox is a CANOpen device as you already know. Unless you have changes the settings already, you would probably want to set the device to be active on start up. The following command does this.
Once this is done, when the device powers on, i believe you should be able to straight away start controlling the outputs.
Right now, there is only time triggered CAN messages, which would work ok i think.
Use the maths channels to make up your data bytes, and then send it at what ever frequency you need.
If this doesn't work for you, then send an email to contact@hardwire-electronics.co.uk and i can send you a link to our pre-release software which has event triggered CAN output messages.
Today the PDM can send time triggered CAN messages only.
So you should config a CAN messages to control your keybox (like the "Set PIN 10 to HIGH" message in your description) whith a changeable byte 6. The state of this byte 6 can be made by calculation or direkt by reading an input state of an PDM input.
You know that all CAN devices at the same bus need to work on the same speed (aka bitrate)?
