Hi all I have a 10 key pad and I am unable to get a little test function to work. I have all of my devices on the CAN bus and the PDM reads the ECU data but is unable to see the key pad signal.
I am sure of the following:
-Baud rate is correct and I changed it to 1000kbps, I know this because I can see the button presses with a CAN sniffer along with the ECU data.
I have tried all the different CAN IDs that I have seen on the BUS from the pad, but still no luck. I can also see some data from the PDM that it is continually sending.
I guess my questions are is the 10 key pad supported and or am I doing something wrong?
Here is some sample data from the pad when pressing button 1. For some reason the forum is telling check my internet connection or I would upload a copy of the current config. I can email if requested.
Hi Mike, We have yet to release the software version that supports the 10 Button keypad, but if you send an email to contact@hardwire-electronics.co.uk then we can send you the pre-release software which does support it.
This has probably been posted before but for all the newbies out there to this blink marine keypad. The ID of a blink marine keypad is 21and by default must be entered in decimal in the hardwire software. Probably would have known this if I would have read the hardwire manual instead of the blink manual as it does not list how to address this. 😮
